Excerpts from Ithsmus newspaper's online music forum:
"Dark Side of the Moon" was freakin' amazingly realized. They played the movie "The Wizard of Oz" on a screen behind the band. The seven count start of "Money" was performed using an actual cash register, change, timer, etc. Cool! Vocals were phenomenal. The female lead (Lina Palionis) blew people away. Everyone did their parts well. Great arrangement. There were like 9 people all doing stuff and it all sounded tight. The surround mix was used to great effect.
When you closed your eyes, you were listening to Pink Floyd. When you opened them, you were watching the Gomers. Great job.

Fan - celebrity comments:
"Them shiny Gomers brought their irreverant humor and bountiful chops to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon," and the Who's, "Who's Next" at the Annex in Madison on Saturday, Feb. 1. The show combining the original stellar Gomer cadre of musical ferocity was augmented by Geoff Brady from the Madison Symphony (whose cash register intro to "Money" was worth the cost of the ticket alone!), as well as Lina Palionis who brought down the house with her vocals on "Us and Them". Hopefully, the Gomers will take this show to a wider audience in the Midwest. It was indeed a healing salve in these troubled times. Encore, Please!" Willy Porter

WOW!!!! The Gomers were amazing!!!! Thank you for a great show and a super turn-out... The owner of the Annex was totally impressed with you, 105.5 and everything we did to make this show a success. Let's go for a Beer!

Hi- I couldn't believe how great that show was. I really had a blast. I can't wait till the next one. Love, T/. Toni Ziemer, former manager of Club de Wash
"The Dark Side of The Who" was the finest cover job I have ever seen a live band do. It was better than I think either of the real bands would have taken the pains to do if they had played the night. Regards, Andrew Sharp
First, what a show! I often forget how important a great show like that can be. Nancy and I had such a good time... it was life-affirming. I was a zombie all Sunday, but it was worth it. Thank You for the Music! jz

Dear Gomers, When I got home Saturday night, Kia (who had been in attendance at the show) came running down the stairs and said "Tonight was the best f***ing night ever!" I had to concur. Geoff
